In order to become an apprentice, you must be employed by an appropriate company that is willing to sponsor you through an apprenticeship. If your employer is not listed in the Company/Organisation name section below could you please direct your employer to the Employer Application Form or ask them to contact degreeapprenticeships@ljmu.ac.uk.

If you do not have an employer sponsor but are interested in Apprenticeships current opportunities can be found at www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship.

Functional Skills (English and Maths)

Employees undertaking an apprenticeship programme must have achieved at least one English and one Maths qualification from the ESFA approved list. You can find out more info by clicking here.

If you do not have level 2 English and Maths qualifications (minimum acceptable grade) you will need to achieve the required standard before you can apply for the apprenticeship programme.
